Specialist Risk Group hires JLT Group strategy advisor as chairman
Insurance intermediary Specialist Risk Group (SRG), has appointed a chairman and two non-executive directors, subject to appropriate regulatory approval. This announcement follows a busy start to 2021, which has so far included six acquisitions and completion of the purchase of a majority share in SRG by HGGC.
William Nabarro joins SRG as its chairman. Most recently, he was a senior strategy advisor to JLT Group. He has held a number of board positions and has a wealth of experience to advise SRG through its next stage of growth.
Julia Hayhoe is appointed non-executive director. Hayhoe is a lawyer who was previously global chief strategy officer at Baker McKenzie. Her executive experience spans strategic growth, leadership and business transformation projects, marketing, business development and communications. She also works as a management consultant, NED and leadership coach.
Vicky Kubitscheck is appointed non-executive director and chair of SRG’s risk and audit committee. Kubitscheck is an experienced NED and board advisor following a career establishing and leading risk, regulation and assurance functions in financial services firms including AEGON and AXA. A strong proponent of risk governance, she is president of the Insurance Internal Audit Group.
