Aon eyes expansion in Nordic market; taps SiriusPoint/Lloyd’s talent

Global re/insurance broker  Aon has tapped a  SiriusPoint executive who has also worked at the Lloyd’s of London to support the expansion of its facultative reinsurance portfolio in the Nordic and Baltic market.

Brenda Wallén (pictured) has joined Aon Reinsurance Solutions Nordic team as facultative reinsurance account manager, based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Wallén spent the last seven years at re/insurer SiriusPoint as an underwriting assistant and previously executive assistant to CEO and management. Prior to joining SiriusPoint, she worked for the Lloyd’s of London as an executive assistant supporting Lloyd’s Nordic operations from its Stockholm office.

“Brenda will be an excellent addition to the Aon Reinsurance Solutions team and the expanding team continues to show our growth ambitions in the Nordic market,” David McCardie, head of facultative reinsurance – Nordic & Baltic Region. “We are all excited to start working with Brenda and are certain she will be an important asset to the team and our clients.”
