WTW, Zurich set the bar for ‘future of broking’ with digital submission

Global broker  WTW has strengthened its position in digital broking through integration with  Zurich for multinational property insurance. The companies believe the latest development to be a pioneering move towards the “future of broking”.

The WTW broking platform can now enable digital trading with Zurich Commercial UK, providing valuable insight into structured risks and placement data at scale.

The integration marks the first digital submission on the WTW broking platform for multinational property insurance.

Hugo Wegbrans, global head of broking, WTW, said: “WTW is proud to be the first broker providing a successful digital submission to Zurich Commercial UK through our unique Broking Platform. This streamlines the process to a real time transaction for both WTW and Zurich, representing a major step forward in modernising the industry. This milestone in our digital transformation journey represents our commitment to providing our clients with the most advanced and efficient services possible. We believe that this digital process will greatly benefit both carriers and the insured, and we are eager to continue to innovate and bring new digital solutions to the industry.”

Sierra Signorelli, CEO Zurich Commercial Insurance, said: “We are delighted to have achieved this significant milestone with WTW. Our ambition at Zurich is to leverage digital technologies to enhance our customer, broker and employee experience. The ability for us to exchange information quickly, efficiently and in an automated way with WTW, for even our most complex business, is a great example of the progress being made.”
