WTW taps Marsh veteran to expand renewable energy and power business
Broker WTW (Willis Towers Watson) has tapped a 29-year industry veteran from Marsh to grow its business in the renewable energy and power sector, which is undergoing rapid development in response to climate change.
Robert Gardner is joining WTW as Great Britain retail industry leader - renewable energy & power for its Risk & Broking division in the UK.
Specialising in power and renewable energy, Gardner has held a variety of leadership roles at Marsh during a 27-year tenure based in London and New York.
In his new role, Gardner will support the expansion of WTW's GB retail footprint working closely with both the GB retail utilities practice and the natural resources global line of business teams.
Adrian Willmott, sales and client management, GB retail, WTW, said: “Robert’s deep industry knowledge and formidable network in Renewable Energy and Power space will further strengthen our Retail footprint in this hugely dynamic and fast growing sector in the UK.
