WTW swoops on former Swiss Re SVP for risk and broking leadership role

WTW (Willis Towers Watson) has tapped a former Swiss Re senior vice president for its Corporate Risk and Broking practice in the US.

Jennifer Knox (pictured) joins WTW as the new Corporate Risk and Broking leader for the Southern California market.

Knox will report to Chuck Shay, head of Corporate Risk and Broking for the West region and will oversee the Los Angeles, Irvine and San Diego Corporate Risk and Broking teams.

Knox has worked in the Southern California marketplace for over 15 years and brings with her nearly 30 years of Commercial P&C experience spanning multiple disciplines and responsibilities. She recently launched the West Coast expansion of PMA, an Old Republic Insurance Company, as the vice president and West regional officer.

Prior to PMA, she was a senior vice president at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions leading their West Region growth and operations.

Shay said: “I am delighted to have Jennifer Knox head up our Southern California region. Her extensive and in depth experience in this area enables us to provide new perceptions and innovative solutions for our clients.”

Knox commented: “I am thrilled to be joining this great organisation and look forward to accelerating its evolution and growth in the Southern California marketplace.”
