Sirius strengthens global team with senior hires
Sirius International Insurance Group (Sirius Group) has made a series of appointments as part of an expansion of its global team.
Sirius has appointed Gene Boxer as executive vice president, group general counsel, having previously served as global general counsel of Cushman & Wakefield, a commercial real estate services firm.
Prior to this, Boxer served a senior member of the Restructuring and Legal M&A Groups of American International Group.
Ed Park joins Sirius Group as a senior vice president and group tax director.
Park has almost 20 years of industry and tax experience, having most recently served as managing director at AIG Portfolio Solutions.
Prior to his eight years in senior roles at AIG, Park was a tax attorney at Shearman & Sterling and Citigroup Global Markets.
Robert McFadden joins Sirius as senior vice president, head of casualty, based in New York.
McFadden has 28 years of industry experience mostly focusing on US casualty treaty business, having most recently served as SVP, director of casualty treaty at XL Catlin.
Prior to that, McFadden worked at Munich Re, XL and Prudential Re.
Also based in New York is Steve Simmons, who joins as senior vice president, property underwriting manager.
Simmons has 26 years of industry experience, having most recently served as SVP and senior underwriter at PartnerRe.
