Neon completes claims team with former MS Amlin and XL Catlin execs
Specialist Lloyd's insurer Neon has completed its claims team with the appointment of Gavin Coley as technical head of claims, and James Sterling as claims manager for professional indemnity and financial lines.
Coley joined Neon from MS Amlin, having previously contributed to multiple London Market Sector Groups including as chairman of the Property Insurance Group and member of the Binder Authority Strategic Claims Group and Lloyd’s Market Strategic Claims Group.
Sterling is a UK-qualified solicitor, having practised law at international insurance law firm CMS Cameron McKenna before holding a senior claims role at XL Catlin. In his new role at Neon, Sterling will focus on financial institutions, directors & officers, and professional indemnity.
Claims director Sharon Long initiated the team build after joining the firm from XL Catlin in May 2016. The team also includes claims managers James Crawford and James Berry.
Long commented: "Neon represents a vibrant, refreshed business which focuses on delivering what its brokers and clients want and need. We have invested significantly to ensure excellent claims service is front and centre of this renewed philosophy."
"The calibre of the team is second to none and we are determined to deliver the market-leading service that our brokers and clients should expect."
