Insurtech Send hires ex-WTW, Honeycomb co-founder for expansion into North America
London-based insurtech Send Technology Solutions has hired a former WTW executive and co-founder of digital MGA startup Honeycomb to lead its ongoing expansion in North America.
Adam Cherubini (pictured) joins Send as chief revenue officer to oversee its partnerships and business development efforts. His appointment follows Send’s recent foray into the US market after receiving fresh Series A funding.

Over the past eight years, he has also led consulting projects focusing on sales, marketing, and partnerships at Voom Insurance, Kelly Klee, Notion, HYLA Mobile, Pie Insurance. Most recently, Cherubini was a co-founder and CRO of Honeycomb, a digital MGA start-up that seeks to disrupt traditional real estate insurance.
At Send, Cherubini’s immediate focus will be the company’s expansion into the North American market.
"We're excited to have Adam on board. His leadership, expertise, and industry knowledge are precisely what we need to accelerate our growth and strengthen our partnerships. Adam's passion for the industry and hunger for growth makes him an excellent addition to the team," said Send co-founder and CEO Andy Moss.
Cherubini commented: "I'm thrilled to be joining Send at such a critical point in its growth trajectory. The company's innovative technology focusing on improving the underwriter experience makes it well-positioned to succeed in the competitive global market. I'm excited to work with the team to drive growth and support our expansion efforts into the North American market to support property and casualty underwriters."
Send's SaaS underwriting workbench is designed to streamline operations, automate administrative-heavy tasks, and free up commercial underwriters to focus on core work. The modular platform, built for the P&C and specialty markets, processes over $4 billion in GWP annually.
