Insurance Council of Australia appoints Munich Re, Chubb and QBE execs to board

The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) has appointed four new members to its board of directors including executives from Munich Re, Chubb and QBE.

The new directors are Frank Costigan - interim managing director of QBE Australia; Ralph Ronnenberg - managing director of Munich Re in Australasia; Jarrod Hill - country president of Australia & New Zealand at Chubb Insurance Australia; and Tracy Green - group executive insurance for RACQ.

All the appointments were made during a board meeting held in Sydney and online.

Additionally, the board also accepted the resignation of Mark Milliner, outgoing IAG CEO Australia.

It ratified the membership application of HDI Global Specialty CE Australia Branch, which writes business insurance cover of commercial motor, fire & ISR, marine, aviation, professional indemnity, public and product liability.

The Insurance Council of Australia now has 58 member companies.
