Everest Insurance launches new workers’ compensation offering with Dovetail

Everest Insurance has engaged with digital MGA Dovetail, a Victor company, to offer its workers’ compensation product through this online platform.

Dovetail’s online platform enables agents and brokers to quickly acquire policies for their small commercial clients. The program is currently available in Illinois, and is expected to roll out in additional states throughout the year.

Brian Drum, senior vice president and head of Everest Underwriting Partners said: “Dovetail’s agile platform simplifies the quote, bind, and issue process for small workers’ compensation policies. This initiative with Dovetail continues our efforts to focus on ease of use and streamline the coverage process for our policyholders. We are excited to offer this initial product via the Dovetail platform and look to build upon our offering with Dovetail in the coming years.”

Michael Ferber, CEO of Dovetail, added: “Everest’s market-leading workers’ compensation solution is a strong addition to the Dovetail platform and supports our long-term mission to bring high-quality insurance products to independent agents working in the small commercial market. Agents will be able to obtain an Everest workers’ compensation policy for their clients in minutes with Dovetail’s advanced quote, bind, policy issuance and payment tools.”
