Everest Insurance launches lawyers’ professional liability program with Embroker

Global re/insurer Everest Insurance has joined with digital insurance brokerage Embroker to provide a new online lawyers’ professional liability program for law firms with up to ten employed attorneys.

Through Embroker’s digitized platform, Everest’s Lawyers’ professional liability policy offers several value-added coverage enhancements.  The coverage is currently available in 31 states and looks to expand availability further in 2020. The addition of this program will expand and complement Everest’s existing lawyers’ professional liability offering for larger firms and reflects the organisation’s commitment to continued expansion in select target markets.

“This product helps cover the wide-ranging risks that smaller law firms encounter,” said Brian Drum, senior vice president and head of Everest Underwriting Partners. “We are very excited to offer this coverage through Embroker, utilising their expertise and unique digitisation capabilities in the marketplace to better serve our smaller law firm policyholders, maximizing the efficiency of their professional liability insurance buying experience.”

Matt Miller, chief executive officer of Embroker, added: “We are thrilled to provide a technology platform with a strong, A+ rated insurance provider like Everest, that allows us to streamline all aspects of the insurance buying process, and most importantly helps our clients protect their firms from risk.”
