CAC Specialty snares ‘exceptionally talented’ senior broker from WTW

Specialty insurance brokerage  CAC Specialty has bolstered its healthcare division with a senior hire, who it described as an “exceptionally talented deal maker and ideal broker” from  Willis Towers Watson.

Karmanee Governor has joined the business as senior account executive. She will support CAC’s strategy to establish a nationwide healthcare division and expand its footprint in the critical sector.

Governor has broad experience in all lines of coverage, with a specific focus on brokering and servicing healthcare professional liability and excess liability programmes for clients ranging from multi-state integrated healthcare and behavioural health systems to senior living, ambulatory surgery centers, miscellaneous medical facilities and large physician groups. Her expertise includes in-depth experience as an underwriter for a physician medical malpractice carrier.

Most recently, Governor served as senior vice president for Willis Towers Watson, where she oversaw the expansion and development of the healthcare industry insurance business as part of the M&A team.
