Aon casualty leader moves to rival Willis Towers Watson in Bermuda

Re/insurance broker  Willis Towers Watson has hired a new head of casualty in Bermuda operations from rival Aon.

Chris Heinicke (pictured) joins Willis Towers Watson from Aon Bermuda, where he served as the managing director and team leader, overseeing the casualty broking unit.

In his new role, Heinicke will be responsible for leading the Bermuda casualty team, giving clients access to the global marketplace as part of WTW's global markets direct & facultative line of business; including all aspects of client service, development of risk solutions, product development and new business growth.

Heinicke will report to Kirsten Beasley, head of office, Bermuda.

Beasley said: “We are delighted to welcome Chris Heinicke to the Willis Towers Watson team. Chris brings over 25 years of extensive industry experience and his appointment demonstrates our commitment to a solution-oriented and innovative approach. Chris is a well-respected leader, and he has the experience and vision to lead our globally connected Bermuda Casualty team.”
