AIG's Validus Re elevates Tudor-Thomas to EVP US property
Validus Re, a part of American International Group (AIG), has appointed Andrew Tudor-Thomas as executive vice president of US property.
Tudor-Thomas joined Validus in 2013 as vice president of US property in Bermuda, and most recently served as senior vice president of US property.
Prior to joining Validus Re, he was a US treaty underwriter at Beazley Syndicates in London. He also served in the US wholesale team in Lloyd’s for Guy Carpenter.
In his new role, Tudor-Thomas will be responsible for positioning Validus Re for continued growth and expansion in the US property market.
He will continue to be based in Bermuda, reporting to Chris Schaper, chief executive officer at Validus Re.
