AEGIS London ex-boss and Lloyd’s veteran emerges at Munich Re

The former CEO of  AEGIS London, who resigned last year after serving the company for 20 years and leading as CEO for the last seven years, has reappeared at  Munich Re Syndicate.

David Croom-Johnson (pictured) has been appointed as a non-executive director board member at Munich Re Syndicate.

Croom-Johnson stepped down from AEGIS London in June last year after being at the helm since 2015. During his tenure as CEO, the company delivered consistently profitable results and written premiums gross of commissions grew by 132% since 2015.

Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Croom-Johnson said: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Non Executive Board Member at Munich Re Syndicate Limited!”
