Acrisure Re plucks top talent from rival Ed Broking for fac reinsurance expansion
Acrisure Re, the reinsurance arm of global broker Acrisure, has expanded its facultative reinsurance division to support its growth ambitions in this key lines of business across London and North America.
The company has hired rival Ed Broking’s Jennifer D’Arcy (pictured) as executive vice president of its facultative reinsurance unit.
D’Arcy has more than 21 years of industry experience. She was most recently head of facultative reinsurance at Ed Broking. Prior to Ed, D’Arcy had similar roles at Price Forbes as well as RK Harrison, Gibbs Hartley Cooper, HSBC and Willis.
In her new role, D’Arcy will continue building out Acrisure Re’s FAC strategy for North America from London, as well as overseeing and developing marine FAC solutions globally. Acrisure Re’s FAC team has already seen the build out of its marine cargo FAC capabilities with several new hires.
