CRC Group swoops on Markel, Travelers for new brokers
Wholesale specialty insurer CRC Group has strengthened its US leadership team with a series of new hires from Markel, Travelers and Brown & Riding.
The appointees will be based in California and Florida and are part of the company’s effort to improve its ability to assist retail agency clients nationwide.
Sarah McKenna (centered) joins as a property broker in its San Fransisco office. Joseph Carothers (pictured left) has been appointed senior team leader and Craig Brown (pictured right) assumes the role of team leader, in the company’s Tampa-Bayport office.
McKenna has over eight years of industry experience. Prior to joining CRC, she served as a business development manager at Markel.
Prior to joining CRC, Carothers spent eight years in underwriting with Brown & Riding.
Brown has more than 20 years of industry experience encompassing claims handling and product management. He previously spent 10 years as a unit manager at Travelers.
