US household auto policy inflation tops 20% at end-23, well above claims

US average retail automotive policy inflation rose to above 20% in December, the latest milestone on an upward march that continues to hit multi-decade highs month after month and finally outpace the cumulative post-pandemic rise in claims cost inflation.
