Clyde & Co voted Best Law Firm by the readers of Intelligent Insurer

Clyde & Co claimed the title of Best Law Firm at Intelligent Insurer’s Global Awards event held in Monte Carlo on September 8, 2013.

Intelligent Insurer’s in-house research team spent six months interviewing industry executives and gathering data from thousands of online responses. In total 1,103 full interviews or surveys were completed. The research team collected qualitative and quantitative data to establish which companies are regarded highly and what qualities have been critical to their long-term success.

Clyde & Co covers a host of insurance and reinsurance areas, including marine, energy, aviation and political risk, across a global network.

“They have been in the market for a very long time, have a good reputation and offer excellent client service,” said one survey respondent when speaking of Clyde & Co.

“I have been quite impressed with them because they have chosen to get involved with cyber liability – and you need a lot of expertise to get involved with that,” said another.

Describing the company as “streets above everyone else” and “particularly dominant”, positive praise was in ample supply.

“They have a strong focus on insurance and reinsurance and the quality of their people is unbeatable,” said another participant.

Other feedback included the company’s longevity in the marketplace, reinsurance area and global reach.

“They know what the client wants,” said one person.

Another commented on the number of staff concentrated in the insurance and reinsurance sector, while another praised the company’s London Market service.

“They have a strong team in the UK and the depth of knowledge of the Lloyd’s London Market and global reinsurance practices is unbeatable,” said one respondent.
