Followed closely by Aon Benfield Securities with 6.37 and Munich Re Capital Markets with 6.31, the category was hotly contested.
Praised for its experience and extensive commitment to both the market and the sector, Swiss Re Capital Markets was recognised as the “biggest in the market”. “They offer the largest market coverage and have the highest success rate,” said one participant.
Another added: “They have demonstrated a long standing commitment to the industry and a thoughtful approach towards business.”

Munich Re Capital Markets was also well reviewed, with comments focusing around the company’s professional team and exceptional quality of work,
Goldman Sachs and Willis Capital Markets followed close behind the top three, receiving scores of 6.27 and 6.18.
Willis Capital Markets, which was commended for its knowledge and hard work, has more than 20 years of experience advising insurance clients across a broad range of market cycles and industry sectors, including hundreds of insurance M&A, ILS and capital raising transactions.
Goldman Sachs was recognised for several reasons, including its client base.

The companies in the shortlists seen here were selected based on the first stage of the research, conducted via phone interviews and open online polls. Respondents were asked to name two companies they regard highly in this category. They were then asked to give details of why they had chosen these firms.
The shortlist for this category reflects the companies mentioned the most frequently.
The researchers then approached the market a second time and, using this shortlist presented in a random order, asked respondents to score each company out of ten based on how they perceive the quality of the products, services and expertise of each. It is the results of this part of the survey that are shown here.
More than 500 respondents took part in each part of the survey respectively.
The score shows the average score out of ten that each company received in stage two of the survey.
