Regulation proves more hindrance than a help for developing the cyber market

Regulation is proving a mixed blessing for the cyber insurance industry as it seeks to develop new products and grow scale. It promises a standardisation that it doesn’t always deliver. That was the message from a panel on the first day of Intelligent Insurer’s Cyber Risk and Insurance Innovation USA conference, taking place in Chicago.
