Swiss Re Corporate Solutions to open Netherlands office

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has announced that it is to open a new office in Amstelveen, in the Netherlands.

The office will focus on large and upper-middle market clients domiciled in the region, and will offer property, casualty and industry-specific products.

Fred Kleiterp, head of Europe, Middle East & Africa at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, said that, by opening of an office in Amstelveen, the firm was showing its commitment to the region.

“With our local presence, we will be ideally positioned to better serve and strengthen relationships with clients and brokers," he said.

Jeroen Weurding, a senior insurance executive, will join Swiss Re Corporate Solutions to lead the business in the Benelux region. Weurding, a Dutch national, has more than 15 years of experience in the commercial insurance market and previously worked for Zurich Financial Services and Delta Lloyd.
