Former LMA CEO Gittings joins DXC Technology’s Ins-sure Services
DXC Technology, the London insurance market service provider, has appointed David Gittings as non-executive director (NED) of its Ins-sure Services (XIS) at a crucial time for the London insurance market.
As former CEO of the Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA), Gittings led the organisation from 2006 to 2018.
In his role at XIS, he will support market modernisation and the development of Lloyd’s and London so it remains at the forefront of the global insurance industry.
He said: “I am delighted to become an independent non-executive director of XIS at this critical time in the market’s development. Like me, DXC Technology is fully committed to progress via the provision of outstanding services to its clients in London. The London market faces challenging cost and competitive pressures, and I’m confident that by working in partnership with the market associations and DXC, XIS will play a crucial role in offering creative solutions to drive future market modernisation.”
John Taylor, account general manager at DXC London Insurance Market, added: “We are heavily invested in and committed to our London market business, and I’m delighted that David is retaining his involvement with XIS to drive this even further forward.
“David has already provided significant guidance to XIS, and I know his insights, network and independence will prove to be a huge asset to our business.”
