DWF appoints Paweł Stykowski as partner and head of insurance in Warsaw

Paweł Stykowski has left law firm Wierzbowski Eversheds Sutherland (WES) to take up the role of local partner and head of insurance at DWF in Warsaw, Poland.

Stykowski headed up the financial services and compliance practice at WES. He has 13 years of experience providing legal advice to the insurance and banking industry, including four years as head of legal/compliance officer for an insurer.

Pawel advised on the implementation of new regulations and recommendations of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. He regularly acts for clients in proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority,

Michał Pawłowski, DWF's managing partner in Poland, said: "We are delighted to welcome Pawel to the expanding DWF team in Poland. His vast expertise in the insurance sector will provide us with the ideal platform from which to strengthen our insurance offering in Warsaw."
