Marsh McLennan looks to Aon for new UK practice leader
Global broker Marsh McLennan has plucked an Aon senior executive with a background at WTW and Gallagher for a leadership role in the UK.
Marsh said the executive is one of industry’s “widely recognised” advisors on the unique risks that the UK health and social care sector currently faces, including mounting complexities around regulation, resilience, cost and access to public health services.
Sarah Triggs (pictured) has been appointed as Marsh McLennan UK healthcare industry leader. Based in London, Triggs will report to Charles Beresford-Davies, Marsh McLennan UK industries leader. She is expected to join the company in Q3 2024.
The new role is designed to deliver resources and solutions from Marsh’s businesses (including Marsh and Mercer) to clients across the public and private healthcare sectors in the UK.
Triggs has over 28 years of specialist health, social care, and third-sector experience. She joins Marsh McLennan from Aon, where she has been a UK health and social care industry leader since 2022. Previously, Triggs worked for WTW for four years, most recently as the UK health and social practice leader. She also worked in the specialist care division of Bollington Care (now AJ Gallagher).
