Mapfre appoints new US chief operating officer
Mapfre has appointed new C-suite leaders for its US and Spanish operations.
Daniel Olohan (pictured right)has been appointed chief operating officer of Mapfre USA, effective August 1, 2024. He will also join the board of directors of Mapfre USA.
Olohan will replace Jose Manuel Corral (pictured left), who steps into the role of chief executive officer of Mapfre VIDA and general manager of the bancassurance channel of Mapfre España by Mapfre SA, effective August 1, 2024. Corral will also join the board of directors of Mapfre España.
Olohan joined Mapfre USA from Nutter in 2006. He has served as general counsel and secretary for over 17 years. Corral has over 30 years of experience in different capacities at Mapfre.
