Japan hit by 7.6M earthquake on west coast of main island

Japan was hit Monday by a 7.6 magnitude earthquake on the Noto peninsula on the west coast of the main island of Honshu, followed within an hour by nine additional quakes above 4.0M on or near the peninsula, the Japanese Meteorological Agency reported.
