Zurich partners with Qover to expand embedded insurance capabilities

Zurich Insurance Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Belgium-based Qover to expand its embedded insurance capabilities, with venture capital arm Zurich Global Ventures participating in the insurtech’s Series C funding round.

Zurich said the collaboration aims to find new ways to distribute innovative insurance products and services, and simplify the future of insurance.

Founded in 2016, Qover’s technology-enabled distribution platform powers global cover through a single integration, making it possible for businesses to easily integrate tailored insurance products to digital experiences in a centralised way. Qover operates in 32 European markets.

Zurich launched Zurich Global Ventures in 2020 to accelerate its development of innovative and digital services. Its portfolio comprises solutions in travel, health and wellbeing, employee benefits, cyber, device protection, digital partners and mobility.
