WTW plucks Aon talent to boost large client retention and growth

Global broker  WTW has swooped on rival Aon to strengthen its large client relationships in the financial lines business.

WTW has hired Claire Sales (pictured) to join its large client Great Britain team in London, reporting into division head David Cross.

Sales will be responsible for leading some of WTW’s large client relationships in financial institutions as well as delivering the broad suite of WTW solutions to WTW’s key clients.

She has over 25 years of insurance and legal experience across financial lines business and joins WTW from Aon, where she spent the last eight years, most recently leading the retail financial services group.

Cross said: “We are delighted to welcome Claire to the Large Client GB team. This appointment demonstrates our continued attraction as a broker of choice for industry talent and reinforces our growth in large client retention and business development.”
