WTW beefs up trade credit leadership with slew of hires from Allianz/Aon
Global broker WTW has beefed up its trade credit leadership with a slew of new hires in the US, Asia and Latin America to drive growth in its financial solutions offerings. The hires come with extensive experience from leading carriers and brokers such as Allianz Trade and Aon.
In New York, Todd Lynady (pictured fourth) has joined WTW as multinational trade credit leader. Lynady has over 25 years’ experience in the industry, including senior roles at Allianz Trade, Atradius, GE Commercial Finance and Zurich. He is also a member of the advisory board of the International Trade and Forfaiting Association’s Americas chapter. He joins from fintech LiquidX, where he has spent the last three years as global head of insurance.
Reporting to Pieter van Ede, WTW’s global head of trade credit, Lynady is responsible for the execution of the company’s multinational trade credit client strategy. He will also leverage his insurtech experience for WTW’s global digital transformation initiatives.

Based in Singapore, Alex Bursak (pictured third) has been appointed as multinational trade credit leader, Asia Pacific. Bursak is one of several hires in the company's newly formed global multinational team and will work in close collaboration with the trade credit team in Asia Pacific. He will be responsible for executing our ambitious growth strategy for WTW’s multinational client segment and will also leverage credit risk underwriting, trade finance and insurtech experience
Bursak comes to WTW with over 17 years of experience in the industry, most recently as regional head of insurance in APAC for LiquidX, a trade finance fintech. Prior to LiquidX, he held roles of increasing responsibility at Nord/LB and Allianz Trade. WTW said his experience in sales, commercial and credit risk underwriting, lending, and innovation will allow him to help our clients and prospects make more informed credit insurance decisions.
Finally, Aline Dalindo (pictured first) and Matheus Marra (pictured second) have joined WTW in Brazil.
As head of financial solutions for Latin America, Dalindo will lead the company's growth aspirations across the financial solutions lines with a focus on trade credit. She will further enhance strategy and investments across the continent and will be an important leader within the global business. Dalindo has worked in the trade credit industry for 15 years and was introduced to the industry when she worked at HSBC. She was most recently executive board member for political risk, crisis management LatAm at Aon.
Marra, as manager trade credit, financial solutions, will coordinate support for global trade credit and multinational clients across Latin America as a key member of the new team, strengthening WTW's presence in Brazil and Latin America. Marra has worked in the trade credit industry for several years, starting his career with Allianz Trade (Euler Hermes) and joining WTW from Aon, where he was most recently LatAm coordinator, trade credit specialist.
