Willis Towers Watson taps Russell-Vick after three decades at rival Marsh
Broker Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has appointed Mark Russell-Vick as its new head of broking for its Great Britain Finex line of business within the Corporate Risk & Broking (CRB) segment.
Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson, Russell-Vick spent 30 years at Marsh. As managing director and head of placement for Marsh FINPRO UK, he was responsible for developing and implementing innovative client solutions as well as driving business efficiency.
In his new role, Russell-Vick will be responsible for developing and leading the Finex GB broking and segmentation strategy. He will be reporting to both Olivia Cooper, head of Finex GB and Clyde Bernstein, GB CRB head of broking.
Cooper said: “We are pleased to confirm the appointment of Mark as our head of broking for GB Finex. In this volatile and uncertain environment, financial and executive risks such as cyber, D&O and PI have come under the spotlight. Ensuring that we have the best broking talent available to deliver bespoke client solutions is essential during this turbulent time.”
Bernstein added: “This appointment is central to ensuring we provide a consistent broking strategy for our clients across the corporate risk and broking business and Mark’s considerable insurance market experience demonstrates our continued investment in this area. As brokers, getting the best value for clients is as important today as ever and Mark will be a great addition to our high performing team. We are delighted to welcome Mark to Willis Towers Watson.”
