Willis Towers Watson boosts Canadian P&C broking unit with new leadership
Willis Towers Watson’s has appointed a new leader for its Canadian property and casualty (P&C) broking team.
Kate Mead (pictured) has been promoted to lead the team. In her new role, Mead will be expected to provide strategic guidance to support business development and promote Willis Towers Watson’s analytics capability, as well as strengthen client and insurer relationships in Canada.
She was previously the company’s practice leader for the Midwest, Northeast US and Canadian environmental business.
“I am honoured to be taking on the leadership of the Canadian broking team at such an exciting time,” Mead said.
“We have new opportunities to capture momentum across all our product lines, to grow our talent, and to continue providing outstanding service to mid-size, national and global clients with our trademark holistic approach to broking, analytics, claims and loss control.”
