Willis Towers Watson bolsters financial solutions division
Broker Willis Towers Watson has appointed Stephanie Pariot as a divisional director in its financial solutions division.
Pariot joins the company with over 10 years of investment banking experience having worked at Crédit Agricole CIB in London, and prior to that at Dresdner Kleinwort (now Commerzbank) in both New York and London. Pariot specialises in loan distribution via primary syndications and credit risk insurance.
Paul Davidson, chairman of financial solutions at Willis Towers Watson, said: "We are delighted to welcome Stephanie to our team of 120 dedicated political risk and credit specialists operating within the Financial Solutions global platform around the world.
"Our business is very focused upon mitigating emerging and developed market country and counterparty risk aggregations in a capital efficient manner for our large portfolio of financial institution clients.We greatly value the opportunity to incorporate a former banker within our team to enhance our skill set and knowledge base for the benefit of these major buyers of our insurance products and services."
The financial solutions division is part of Willis Towers Watson global financial lines and corporate risk and broking. It provides solutions in political risks, trade credit, terrorism and political violence, structured finance, contingent aviation as well as offering project finance consultancy services.
