Willis Towers Watson appoints new life insurance leader for Americas
Willis Towers Watson has appointed Dominique Lebel to lead its insurance consulting and technology (ICT) life business for the Americas.
Lebel succeeds Marcela Abraham, who will focus on further developing the ICT business across Latin America.
In his new role, Lebel’s responsibilities will include the market strategy and development of the full range of the company’s consulting services and software solutions for life insurers in the Americas.
Lebel joined Willis Towers Watson in 2000 and has since held several important roles within the company, while advising his clients in embedded value, financial reporting, M&A, pricing and economic capital. Prior to this appointment, he was a managing director and the leader of the life business for the Hartford, Connecticut office and also led financial and regulatory reporting for the Americas life business. Before joining Willis Towers Watson, Lebel was an actuary at Empire Life.
“We’re delighted to have Dom assume this important position. The combination of his valued client experience, deep life industry expertise and proven leadership skills makes him an ideal fit for this role,” said Serhat Guven, Americas ICT leader for Willis Towers Watson. “Dom is recognized in the marketplace through his many client relationships, speaking roles and published articles. His more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of life insurance will serve our clients very well.”
