White Mountains appoints new CFO
Bermuda-based insurer White Mountains has appointed Reid Campbell to become its chief financial officer (CFO). He succeeds David Foy who will remain an advisor to senior management through the end of 2017.
Campbell has served as a managing director of White Mountains Capital since January 2004 and as the president of White Mountains Advisors since January 2015. He joined the company in 1994 and has served in a variety of financial management positions.
Prior to joining White Mountains, Campbell spent three years with KPMG.
"It has been a great pleasure to serve White Mountains over the past 14 years, and I am pleased to have such a capable successor as Reid," Foy said. "I am confident he will be a great White Mountains CFO, and under Manning's leadership, I believe White Mountains has a bright future."
Manning Rountree, White Mountains' chief executive officer, said: "We are pleased to announce Reid's promotion to CFO. We also want to thank David for his many important contributions during his 14 years with White Mountains, including his major contribution to the success of our Symetra investment."
