V3 appoints former QBE senior exec as COO
US-based programme administrator and managing general agency (MGA) V3 Insurance Partners has appointed former QBE executive Brian Janitschke as its chief operating officer.
Janitschke most recently held roles focused on predictive analytics as the chief actuary of Capital Insurance Group and the leader of business intelligence at Western National Insurance. However, he is better known in the industry for his role as senior vice president of programme products at QBE North America where he was also a member of the senior management team. By joining V3, he returns to the MGA space.
Commenting on the appointment, Susan Rivera, president and chief executive officer of V3, said: “Thanks to his actuarial acumen and first-hand experience in the managing general agency (MGA) sector, Mr. Janitschke will make an outstanding addition to V3. He shares our vision of V3 as a sophisticated underwriting organization that is savvy, data-rich and capable of processing thousands of submissions in the SME business sector.”
Janitschke commented: “V3 has already established itself as one of the industry’s most progressive programme administrators. I look forward to building on its commitment to underwriting, analytics and the latest in cost-efficient and customer-friendly technology.”
V3 offers insurance programme administration in specialty lines such as property, casualty, professional liability and workers’ compensation.
