US P&C insurer CNA mines rival Chubb for financial lines leader
US commercial property and casualty insurer CNA plucked the financial lines leader from rival Chubb to head up its own forays into the lines.
Steve Goldman (Pictured) steps in to become senior vice president for financial lines and healthcare to spearhead strategy and operations for the unit.
Goldman has most recently served as division president for financial lines at Chubb North America in a twenty-year career that has included stints at AIG and Chubb predecessor ACE.
Chubb EVP and global head of underwriting Doug Worman commented: “Steve’s proven track record of performance across all facets of the financial lines portfolio, and his deep leadership experience within the insurance industry, make him the ideal candidate to lead our Management Liability, Financial Institutions and Healthcare businesses.”
