US insurer Alera snaps up insurance agency Capstone

Alera Group, a US-based national insurance and wealth services firm, has acquired Capstone Insurance Services, an independent insurance agency that offers personalised programmes to simplify insurance solutions for the transportation industry.

Headquartered in New Jersey, Capstone provides a full range of business and personal insurance products and services, including specialty services for the transportation industry, with programmes specifically designed for Amazon delivery service providers, FedEx ground contractors and line haul contractors. Other business and personal lines of insurance coverage include auto, general liability, property, cyber liability, workers’ compensation home, health and life.
