Tysers turns focus on digital transformation with new COO Elton
Lloyd's broker Tysers has hired Martin Elton as its new chief operating officer (COO), focusing on digital and operations transformation and change programmes.
Elton will work closely with newly appointed CEO Clive Buesnel and Tysers' executive team to provide strategic and operational leadership.
He joins Tysers having led the outsourced operations and IT setup for Convex, Stephen Catlin's London & Bermuda re/insurance start-up.
Elton's background includes various ExCo roles at Xchanging (MD of a broking operations JV with Aon, COO at XIS, Insurance Sector CIO), and as COO and EMEA MD at ActiveOps, a provider of technology and management solutions to major banking and financial services organisations. He has also held senior roles at Accenture and Virgin.
