Twelve Capital expands board following GKB deal
Twelve Capital, the Zurich-based investment manager focussed on catastrophe bond and insurance linked securities (ILS), has shuffled its board of directors following the acquisition of a minority stake (around 30 percent) by Graubündner Kantonalbank (GKB) in June 2022.
At the holding company level, the board is now composed of Urs Ramseier (executive chairman), Christoph Bürer (executive vice chairman) and Martina MüllerKamp (member).
Müller-Kamp is a member of the executive board of GKB and head of the market services business unit. Previously, she held positions in analysis and asset management at VP Bank in Vaduz and Bankhaus Lampe in Düsseldorf.
Twelve Capital AG, the investment manager within the Group, has appointed Caroline Clemetson and Andreas Knörzer as members of its board of directors alongside Christoph Bürer (executive chairman).
Clemetson has extensive expertise in investment management and finance law. She is a partner at Schellenberg Wittmer AG, Attorneys at Law and a member of the firm's Executive Committee. Previously, she was head of investment products and distribution at the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).
Knörzer has many years of experience in the field of sustainable asset management and ESG. He is the managing owner of Knörzer Consulting, a company specialising in sustainability consulting for finance and business. Before founding his company, he held senior positions in asset management at banks with a focus on portfolio management and sustainability analysis.
Ramseier commented: "I warmly welcome Martina, Caroline and Andreas and look forward to our collaboration. These proven professionals bring valuable experience to further develop and implement Twelve Capital's corporate strategy."
