TransRe unveils new leadership role to tap into global facultative market
Alleghany-owned global reinsurer TransRe has created a new leadership position to profitably grow its facultative book of business.
Jim Crutchley has been appointed to the newly created position of global facultative leader, responsible for the strategic direction of TransRe’s global book of facultative business.
Crutchley will work with TransRe’s regional facultative teams and global product leaders to identify and execute market opportunities, streamline and standardise workflows, and accelerate data and analytics around market changes and claims trends.
He joined TransRe in 2015 to create and lead the US facultative casualty team. In his new role, Crutchley will report directly to Paul McKeon, president of regional business units.
TransRe has promoted Stephanie Danbrowney to Crutchley’s prior position as head of US facultative casualty. Since joining the company in 2018.
