Trans Re names head of surety and credit
Transatlantic Reinsurance, a property/casualty reinsurer, has appointed Victor Mora as head of its surety and credit department.
Mora was promoted from the position of vice president, surety facultative, and will now report directly to Javier Vijil, president of Trans Re.
Mora joined Trans Re two and a half years ago, and before that had served as risk manager for Odebrecht.
Prior to Odebrecht, Mora had worked as a property and casualty manager, including engineering lines, for Zurich Seguros.
At Trans Re, Mora will have regional responsibility for all surety underwriting throughout the division.
