Towergate gets former ACE, Hiscox head to lead partnerships development
UK insurance intermediary Towergate has appointed Colin Wallace as partnership director, reporting to retail chief executive officer (CEO) Steven Anson.
Colin joins Towergate from Brightside Group, where he was the distribution director responsible for the growth and development of the group's affinity, affiliate and partnership business.
Prior to this, Wallace served as the head of partnerships management, accident, heath and travel at ACE European Group, and as head of partnerships at Hiscox.
Anson said: "Colin joins the organisation with sizeable knowledge and expertise, and an excellent reputation within the Partnership market. He has a clear remit to breathe life back into our partnerships proposition, given our unique position in so many niche and specialist product lines.
"His appointment follows a period of disparate partnership representation within the group, and signifies a commitment to drive this revenue opportunity as we continue to focus relentlessly on revenue generation and growth."
Wallace added: "Towergate are now more than ever, open for business. A couple of months into the role and it is very clear to me that with the breadth of our proposition, strength of insurer relationships and market leading positions across a number of product areas we are well placed to grow and develop our business through partnerships."
