Tokio Marine Holdings lays out its CSR goals and achievements

Tokio Marine Holdings has laid out its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability in its 2019 sustainability report, titled To Be a Good Company.

The report, which is available on the company’s website contains Tokio Marine Group’s CSR initiatives along its three CSR core themes: providing safety and security, protecting the Earth and supporting people.

Notably, the report lays out the process of specifying CSR materiality including value chain analysis, group initiatives and their relevance to the sustainable development goals, along with CSR performance data.

“Tokio Marine Group believes CSR is synonymous with the implementation of our corporate philosophy and that promoting efforts to solve societal issues will lead to the group’s sustainable growth,” said Satoru Komiya, president and group CEP, Tokio Marine Holdings.
