TigerRisk appoints former Guy Carpenter MD as head of client strategy
Reinsurance broker TigerRisk Partners has appointed Megan Stewart Hodge as a partner and head of client strategy, based in Chicago.
In the newly-created position, Hodge will be tasked to optimize the value-add TigerRisk provides its clients through a holistic approach to incorporating innovation coupled with novel risk transfer structures to align, support and exceed its clients’ core objectives.
Hodge joins TigerRisk from Metabiota, a firm specializing in epidemiological risk analysis, where she was the global head of business development/risk products. Prior to that, she worked at Guy Carpenter as an SVP and became managing director of its Chicago office as part of its US Leadership team.
“Throughout her career, Megan has been at the leading edge of insurance industry strategy and innovation,” said Rod Fox, CEO of TigerRisk. “She will be invaluable for Tiger and our clients through this intricate market cycle.”
Hodge commented: "I’ve followed the innovative and industry leading initiatives TigerRisk has been executing with great interest. It is quite compelling to join a company that leverages its deep industry talent and analytics to embrace innovation in optimizing its ability to help its clients succeed. I’m thrilled with the opportunity to join such a talented and nimble organization."
