The Hartford to use AI for motor claims in partnership with Tractable
US property and casualty insurer The Hartford has partnered with insurtech Tractable to use artificial intelligence (AI) technology across its auto insurance claims operations.
Tractable's AI solution uses computer vision technology to streamline motor claims handling and accelerate accident and disaster recovery.
Alex Dalyac, co-founder and CEO, Tractable, said: “We are honored to announce this partnership. We see this as a testament to the quality of our technology, the maturity of our solution, and the trust in our people. Computer vision is accelerating accident recovery; the technology is here, it’s on the ground and it’s making a difference.”
Tractable was co-founded in 2015 and has since raised $55 million in venture funding, processing over $1 billion in auto claims for insurers including Tokio Marine, Covea, and Admiral.
