Swiss Re CS appoints new head of A&H underwriting
Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of Swiss Re, has appointed Ronald Nagy as head of accident & health (A&H) underwriting.
Nagy will be responsible for leading the A&H underwriting team. Based in Schaumburg, Illinois, he will oversee a team of underwriters, clinical risk managers and the products lead supporting traditional and non-traditional solutions in the employer stop-loss market.
Nagy has 30 years of insurance experience. Prior to joining Swiss Re in 2014, he was a director of underwriting and regional underwriting manager at two national health carriers. He presently serves as senior underwriting lead for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.
Nagy succeeds Joel McKeever who will retire as of September 30, 2020. Pamela Carr will assume his current responsibilities as of June 1.
