Swiss Re Corporate Solutions appoints head property & specialty lines, South Africa
Reinsurer Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has appointed Seelan Naidoo as head property & specialty lines, South Africa, effective February 1 2020. In this role, Naidoo will be responsible for the underwriting strategy and the development of the property & specialty portfolios in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. Based in Johannesburg, he will oversee the general property, mining & energy and engineering & construction portfolios as well as all property-related innovative risk solutions.

Naidoo has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial insurance sector in the region and has held various underwriting and leadership roles. His most recent position was head of property and engineering for another commercial insurer in South Africa.
Swiss Re Corporate Solutions serves clients and brokers throughout South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa from its office in Johannesburg.
