Swiss Re Corporate Solutions appoints head, casualty & FinPro, North America

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, an international provider of risk transfer solutions to large and mid-sized corporations, has appointed Laura Coppola as head, casualty & FinPro North America, effective January 27. In this role, Coppola will be responsible for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions' Financial and Professional Liability (FinPro) business in the US and Canada, comprised of accountants & consultants, agents & lawyers, construction professional indemnity, cyber & technology, executive risks and transaction liability.

She will also reposition Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in the US Casualty market to focus on crisis management and construction general liability and providing excess capacity for the international programs of non-US clients. Coppola will be based in New York City.

With twenty-five years of insurance experience, Coppola has held numerous leadership positions of increasing responsibility within the industry, most recently as head of financial lines north America at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS).
