SterlingRisk launches new 'holistic' cyber cover

SterlingRisk Insurance has unveiled a new insurance program offering comprehensive cyber coverage across a diverse range of industries.

The company said there is a need for robust cybersecurity coverage as businesses of all sizes are finding themselves increasingly dependent on technology and the vulnerabilities of a remote workforce.

SterlingRisk Programs, a division of SterlingRisk Insurance, has partnered with the cybersecurity insurance company Elpha Secure for the offering.

Sterling New Age Cyber will be available to a range of industries, from restaurants, real estate, and retail to family entertainment, social workers, architects, and engineers.

“In addition to streamlining the insurance process and increasing accuracy, we’re providing the customer with access to our risk management technology to help prevent cyber-attacks and avoid phishing,” said SterlingRisk CEO David Sterling. “Sterling New Age Cyber is a total solutions program that enables businesses to effectively assess, manage, and insure against cyber threats. It’s a revolutionary, holistic approach to cyber coverage.”

SterlingRisk president of programs Geraldine DelPrete added: “We are excited to partner with Elpha Secure to bring to market a leading edge program that can help manage what has become a critical loss leader. At Sterling New Age Cyber, we’re all about identifying risk and helping companies improve their cyber posture with the right cyber security tools.”
